The Marigny Opera House, a deconsecrated Roman Catholic church built in the 1800s, was the lovely, dramatic setting for Brett + Nathalie’s New Orleans wedding. However, the space presented some logistical challenges. We needed to bring in additional bathrooms, build a temporary kitchen and pump in heat. The 160 guests faced a stunning, custom-built ‘living wall’ with fresh moss and foliage that mimicked the shape of the church windows. We installed lighting on the roof to illuminate the circular stained glass windows in the church’s ceiling dom. The glow from those windows made the space even more extraordinary!
